I think the OP is telling us he can't open it from task bar when it has been minimised. It does work on my Win11 BI5 pc, so that's not the problem. All I have to do is Left click on the minimised icon and it goes full screen. You could try right clicking on it to see if you can open it via the menu...

Since all video has to go to the HDD at some point anyway, why not just write there one time in the first place and call it done. With the New/Stored you need to write to ssd, read from ssd then write to hdd. I would put the OS and BI on the SSD and keep the HDD for all video. Skip the new/stored m...

Is your goal to have blue iris hidden, and not in the task bar? There is a option in the setting to run BI as a windows service.
