Windows 11... Microsoft keeps taking thngs away, making Windows more difficult, IMO.

BI is there. It's pinned to the app list.
Use the NEW and unimproved application manager to find BI and open it.

Is your goal to have blue iris hidden, and not in the task bar? There is a option in the setting to run BI as a windows service. This should make it load in the background automatically, and it will not be in the task bar. To view the cameras you just need to launch the app as normal. If you close the app the service will stay running in the background.
Also kinda of off topic, but you should not use registry cleaners they often do more damage then they help with.

I think the OP is telling us he can't open it from task bar when it has been minimised. It does work on my Win11 BI5 pc, so that's not the problem.

All I have to do is Left click on the minimised icon and it goes full screen. You could try right clicking on it to see if you can open it via the menu. That works here as well. There is even the old Alt-tab combination that should show all working apps. Hold Alt down and press tab until it is on the BI5 icon then release Alt.

Does the pc have working anti-virus software ? This could be so many things from malware to a hardware failure.

Ok if that is the case assuming it works on W11 the same as W10. You can just open the app with a shortcut or from the windows start menu. It wont open a second instance just bring the current one to the front.
