Re: BI ios app - No access to clips
FYI it works now. I moved all my equipment into my new house, and kept the same ATT Fiber 1GB service but they provided a new gateway/router device. Punched in my port forwards on the new gateway and that solved the issue. Chalk it up to ISP doing something funky.

Re: BI ios app - No access to clips
I solved this issue. Went from Cox to Verizon. Verizon had faster speed and lower pricing. Don't know if speed did the trick but it is fluid and works as it should. Thanks for the update, I saw this and decided to check my plan, was on 300/300 for 80-30rebate, changed to 1000/1000 for $70-20rebate....

Re: BI ios app - No access to clips
Exact same problem I have on a friends business system. I changed the router out to a different model, a year 2003 unit I have laying around for testing, but get this. On my Android phone now it works very good, but on his Apple phone it still has same problem. However on his apple phone he can acc...

Re: BI ios app - No access to clips
My first thought on any of these 'connection' issues is port forwarding mistakes. You ruled that out. Then I think someone may have messed up the IOS App config. You ruled that out. I then ask folks to try using a remote connection that is NOT cellular (ie Starbucks). Have you tried that? What is l...

Re: BI ios app - No access to clips
Thank you for the replies, I don't believe this is a BI issue, but am just hoping someone comes up with a better solution. My money is on ATT doing some form of QoS/packet shaping, seeing this a "streaming media" or something. What provider do you all have? I have ATT uverse fiber (interne...

Re: BI ios app - No access to clips
Can we start over with the problem statement? Can you access the BI web UI from your phone or laptop when away from your home network? Yes: Offsite (or phone with wifi off) I access my cameras it loads the site, I sign in, it loads up the cameras (live view) and if I am on the alert tab (or click i...

Re: BI ios app - No access to clips
No solution, but I started using team viewer when offsite to view anything on the camera.

Re: BI ios app - No access to clips
Any chance you found the solution? I found this thread while googling the same issue. In my house, it works great from any device, but outside my house I can watch the live view of my 2 cameras, but if I click on anything like alerts of clips, the page half loads the clips on the side, freezes, and ...
