Re: Blue Iris Version 5.9.9.18 and vr 19 cpu spiking
Yeah there no hardware warnings in blue iris but that's fair it was not designed for that. The underlying problem is not the failing drive but blue iris itself. There multiple issues these days that are becoming problematic to say the least. The downloads are actually wrong as your getting a version...

Re: Blue Iris Version 5.9.9.18 and vr 19 cpu spiking
Turns out the download listed is not the download you get which needs to be corrected although updating in program simple.
The hidden issue in this case looks to be the ssd which is at 10% life
Certainly explains the behaviour the ssd doing this

Re: Blue Iris Version 5.9.9.18 and vr 19 cpu spiking
More interesting is i manually downloaded the 5.9.9.18 update and installed it over the old one. It showing as version 5.9.9.14 not 5.9.9.18 so something is clearly broken. Extracting it shows that its not the version its supposed to be so i suspect well dealing with the mess caused by the old payme...

Re: Blue Iris Version 5.9.9.18 and vr 19 cpu spiking
Its strange i got 16 cameras and at most all see 45%. But now if go to the pc and open the software it spikes to a 100% Making it stranger going into task-manager it does not show this and it appears to be the ethernet that getting slammed rather then the actually cpu. The cpu shows the normal amoun...

Blue Iris Version 5.9.9.18 and vr 19 cpu spiking
Since updating i noticed crazy cpu spiking. If i reboot the system and don't touch it the cpu hovers around 45% when there lots of foot traffic going by and 12% when it quiet. Now if i log into the system and open the blue iris to check setting or the like it pegs the cpu at a 100% and remain there ...

Re: Duo 3 records with onvif but not with rtmp
Yeahhhh about that. Time for some education it seems. There very little of what you said that actually accurate. Most of the reolink 4k cameras are using H264 and it's only the 8MP or above use H265 https://support.reolink.com/hc/en-us/articles/900000652683-Introduction-to-the-Video-Format-of-Reolin...

Re: Duo 3 records with onvif but not with rtmp
Odd since it works perfectly fine and has been doing so with blue iris for quite some time.

Duo 3 records with onvif but not with rtmp
To reduce load and since live playback can slightly stutter with reolink and blue iris i tend to set any reolink cameras to rtmp. This works fine on all of them and except the duo 3 poe. It connects without issue but for some reason blueiris doesn't record off of it when rtmp is used. Anyone else ru...

Re: Want to setup clip search length to 7 days
Sorry for the late reply was doing the hospital thing.
Three of the cameras are doing full time recording and the others are all motion triggered.
Sort of figured i could just set the drive to the 6 tb but figured its best to check with the expert just encase
