The password under users was not visible, showed *******. I tried the only 7 character passwords that I would have created and none worked.
I created a new user and that worked perfectly. I should have thought of that myself, but I'm 73 years old and maybe my thinker has slowed down.

I may have found my problem. I checked the sever information on my my old phone and the WAN address is different than what I was using on the new phone. I just got a new phone (note 10+). The blue iris phone app is asking for server information. I got most of the information needed from the windows application.
