I finally got Blueiris to only record clips I want, no false positives. The problem I am having now is that once I register my face the AI thinks everyone is me so it does not save any unknown faces.
Also it thinks my cat is an elephant or a pig sometimes but he is kind of fat.

Do I have my static objects config right?
I am trying to use AI to limit false positives. I get recordings all night on several cameras. I have all of my recordings on "when alerted". Am I setting my static objects correctly?

Can you trigger a clip by AI person detection?
It seems like this would cut down on false positives. Is there a youtube on how to do it?

Re: I see them inbound but not outbound
Thanks for that, where do I set vehicle in the ai settings? While I agree that 712 for min size is high it does record clips of people leaving.
As a side note, I tried to do facial recognition for my cat. Didn't work!

I see them inbound but not outbound
I have a couple of cameras pointing at my long driveway and I get clips of people leaving but not coming. That means I get no faces. I am recording on alert. I attached the config. Any ideas?

Re: some cameras not working
Changing from h.265 to h.264 made it come back to life. Thank you. Thats my camera that lets me see the wildlife in the yard. Last year it caught a beaver stealing my raspberry bushes.

Re: some cameras not working
I do have one camera in the broken condition still. Can you elaborate on the MAC address comment? If the PC with running BI server (and client) can ping the camera it must have a valid arp entry to the MAC address. The camera in question did boot.

Re: some cameras not working
Thank you for the replies. Yes they have static IP addresses, the network is flat, just one subnet. If i go to settings / video / click on the IP I get to the camera. And update, this morning they are all working. Yesterday I forced an update of BI, rebooted the PC a couple of times. Mystery not sol...

some cameras not working
I have a strange situation, I have 10 cameras, suddenly 4 don't work. They say no signal. I can get to all of them with a browser. I can inspect them and they are found and identified. Any idea what could be wrong?

Trouble with one camera recording too much.
Hi all, I have about 7 cameras. One keeps recording and I can't figure out why. I am running AI and the camera is configured to record on alert. The camera is pointing at a driveway where two cars and a boat are parked. If I analyze with AI it identifies cars and the boat. If I analyze with motion s...
