Re: BI 5.4 built-in DeepStack Integration
So what am I missing. I installed DS, and set up one camera to use it. I got it to where I can see it analyzing triggered clips, but always comes back with nothing found. Even cranking the confidence way down, the clips still come back and say "nothing found". Looking thru my alert images,...

Re: file size / split cut, etc
I'm not too worried about copying and exporting. I'll usually select a start and stop frame, then export/re-encode the clip to email or send. It's just a pain when you don't have a time-frame of when something happened and you have to go thru a bunch of clips to find it. But I'm thinking with a long...

Re: House Facing Oncoming road ... help with motion settings
Did you ever find a solution to this? I have a very similar issue where headlights at night "sweep" my property and trigger alerts. I've fiddled with settings but not had much luck.

file size / split cut, etc
I'm recording full time, with alerts on motion. Currently I have the split setting set to the default. Is there any reason I shouldn't increase those values to have longer clips, downfalls etc. I find myself playing a clip and using the slider to scroll thru looking for action. As it is now, I'm onl...

New vs Storage - Full time recording
I just swapped out to a much larger hard drive and am doing full time recording now. I currently have 3 days worth of video going into NEW, then the rest into STORAGE once they age out. It's the same drive, is there any reason not to just let everything record to the same folder? I would think this ...

Those settings are the same that I can change.
My settings are actually close. I'm using 4000 bitrate, and 15 fps.

Re: Finiky motion detection on one camera (Reolink RLC-410-5mp))
Out of curiosity can you change your CBR/VBR and keyframe? Somebody on another forum mentioned they could in their RLC-420's. From my research, the hardware is identical inside but the firmware on the 410 got crippled. I found a page that explains how to decompile it and possibly hack the 410 with t...

Re: Finiky motion detection on one camera (Reolink RLC-410-5mp))
Support from the vendor is a negative. They told me it's not supported to change from VBR to CBR or adjust the keyframe rate. That's the last Reolink product I'll ever buy. Sadly it seems like a well made unit, at a good price point too. I'm also past my Amazon return window (I bought this as a spar...

Finiky motion detection on one camera (Reolink RLC-410-5mp))
I have one camera that I cannot change the keyframe interval on, nor can I use CBR (The firmware is very crippled). It's currently running 15fps, .5 keyframe, VBR with a max bitrate of 4096. I finally got motion detection to work, but I had to lower the contrast and min object size greatly compared ...

Re: Windows 10: Turn off Page file?
I've had mixed results over the years with disabling the page file. Windows 7 and 10. Hard drive and SSD. Most of my computers now have a SSD for the operating system, and a spinning drive for big stuff. I keep the page file on, and on the SSD but I keep the size to a set size (not system managed). ...
