UPDATE: This problem seems to have been resolved in the v5.5.5.2 release. I just installed it and it is working as it should.

I gave the above a try and it didn't change the behavior. BTW .... I actually even reset all UI settings to default in an attempt at fixing this problem and that made no difference either.

UPDATE: I reverted back to v5.5.4.5. That fixed the problem.

I had the same problem last few updates. BI would not shut down cleanly and restart after update. Couldn't even shut it down manually without ending the process in task manager.
