I apologise for my lack of proper explanation. I am using the Android phones as the viewing devices for my already established cameras that are connected to my BI server. There is a "Background Audio" option that allows the audio to continue to run when the phone is locked. I have cameras ...

I can easily say that the SD6W-5MP-HX is a great camera. Took about 15 minutes longer to setup than my Amcrest cameras, but once in place, I was very impressed. It's functioned quite well for us and I can recommend it to anyone looking for a good outdoor camera.
