Re: Memory leak on version 5.8.0.5

I think I also fixed mine. Disabled hardware acceleration on all my cams and so far everything has been good for the last few days. The other strange thing but a bonus is that doing this actually lowered the overall CPU usage from around 30% to 20%? I’ve read of other posts stating this but never r...

Re: Memory leak on version 5.8.0.5

Wow, I would have never figured that one out  Hope all is well now :D Yeah I was surprised to say the least! Problem has so far not resurfaced and BlueIris is humming along nicely: https://tweakers.net/fotoalbum/image/4c2KKe1RShLFamRA8WNTcGXM.png Thing I did: Upgrade to latest version (5.8.1...

Re: Memory leak on version 5.8.0.5

So with the help of Ken and Procexplorer I found that Blue Iris was trying to upload JPEG screenshots every minute to a no longer existing FTP server. I disabled this upload, restarted the service and since then the issue appears to be fixed. (After 24 hours only about 900MB of usage :D )

Re: Memory leak on version 5.8.0.5

I feel a bit daft, I did get a reply from... Ken :) but somehow Office 365 /Microsoft decided it was SPAM. On his request I have added blueiris.exe and c:\Blueiris to the exclusion list of Microsoft Defender (Page 225 of the manual) and am now updating the Intel(R) Iris(R) Xe Graphics drivers from ...

I have not tried that. Can I downgrade to 5.7.x without issues?

Re: Memory leak on version 5.8.0.5

Having this issue as well on 5.8.0.14, so for me it's not fixed with this version. BI running as a service eats all memory until RAM runs out or I restart the service: https://tweakers.net/fotoalbum/image/b5gvG8cO3ugu4OYdDIejDJr4.png Intel Core i5-1235U with 32GB RAM running Windows 2022 Standard.
