Re: CPU 100%
NOOO! System was good for 3 days and then the system spiked again. I guess it still isn't reliable. Can anyone make sense of these numbers? Why would most of the cameras' bitrates triple and quadruple? Yet the FPS is at 0 and CPU 100% Bitrate in the Reolink config is 4096kbps max and when they are w...

Re: BI Using near 100% cpu
Well op, hopefully you resolved your issue. But in case this is a zombie thread, this is the solution that worked for me.
Solution:
-Limit decoding unless required-OFF on all cameras
-Hardware Acceleration-OFF on all cameras

Re: CPU 100%
You're right about the Reolink, you can't do anything about the lack of keyframe info. I've tested for 3 days and haven't had any CPU spike. I'm optimistically considering my long-standing issue resolved. This has been plaguing me for months so I will be so excited if this is the permanent solution....

Re: BI Using near 100% cpu
I have just purchased a dedicated pc just for blueiris and recording. I have only added 3 cameras so far and everything is lagging and it says 99% CPU usage. I believe my pc should be more than capable of handling the tasks. pc.PNG Op, did you ever solve your issue? I have been working on a solutio...

Re: CPU 100%
Current test: Limit decoding unless required OFF on all cameras, turned off Hardware Acceleration. There was no increase in CPU usage, so although HA had a checkmark, maybe it wasn't even working on this older i5-3470. No spike in 12 hours, will continue test. FPS/key: 15.xx/.50 Totals: ~4400kB/sec ...

Re: CPU 100%
FPS: 15 Running as service All cams recording all the time Update: I just reformatted on different system HD, installed clean Win10, changed storage HD, installed BI5. Within 12 hours, I lost almost all cams and CPU shot up to 100% I have not tried: "Limit decoding unless required OFF on all ca...

Re: No Signal
Does your CPU spike really high? I'm also battling dissapearing Reolink cameras. I made another thread about it.

Re: CPU 100%
- Do you have 'Limit Decoding' enabled on the cameras? - What is the make/model of the hard drive...'internal 6TB HDD'? Yes, I have "Limit decoding unless required" Selected for all cameras 9 cams: 8 Reolink RLC-420, 1 Foscam VGA HD: System - Liteon LCS-128M6S, Storage - SATA 6TB Seagate ...

Re: CPU 100%
Good ideas, I just did these a few hours ago.
Cameras just went out. Android app says CPU 100%. Task manager says BI using ~99% CPU.
Any way to find out why BI goes from 8% CPU to 99% and all the cameras go out?

CPU 100%
CPU usage spikes to 100%. I have to remote desktop 2-3X/day to reset the computer. System: Win10 Intel i5-3470 8GB RAM 9 cams, mostly Reolink Using substreams Intel Quicksync BI running on internal 128GB SSD All clips save to internal 6TB HDD CPU: ~8% for a few hours then spikes to 100% Most cameras...
