For #2, uncheck "Fire non-email/SMS/Push actions regardless".
Right now you have it set to notify you no matter what DS does.
Not sure if that will change how the recording works, I continuous record so I can't really speak to that issue.

Re: Does Deepstack need motion alerts?
When I set up each camera for deepstack, do I need to select motion detection in the BI camera setup page? My install works with both Onvif triggers and regular BI motion alerts. However when I was testing with cloned cameras the Onvif triggers weren't working with it for some reason, I think someo...

Re: Deepstack Confirmed Alerts Only
I've recently deployed Deepstack and have everything working but I had a questions around Triggers/Alerts when using it. What I'd like is to have no alerts/clips unless deepstack confirms a person. Re: Android client(s) all stopped working
I tested this today and both version 2 and version 3.x still work for me. I'm using a OnePlus 7T on Android 11. Re: DeepStack
The triggered Alert images are marked as Onvif, but nothing from DS. I'm wondering if this only works with motion that has been detected by BI5. Zoiks  When I was doing this on a cloned camera BI motion worked but the Onvif trigger was not being picked up, it was only working on the main for s...

Re: DeepStack
Presuming you have DeepStack installed properly, the trigger is still your motion sensor settings. DeepStack will look at the image after the trigger to see if it matches your object category. Check Fire "On Alert" actions only when confirmed, that should give you the desired result. Right...
