Re: Nest Doorbell Camera
The hack is to basically get a public URL from Nest and use that as a camera feed. But if the public url ever changes you need to update your camera settings in BI. Interesting... I never really checked out that option in the Nest config. It looks like there is an option for "true" public...

Re: Camera Discovery shows nothing
I added the cameras I do have by knowing their IPs but was just curious why their discovery function didn't work. I figured it would work like an IP Scanner and at least show them. Ideally all these should be on a separate VLAN to keep them isolated to their own playground.
Thanks

Re: Nest Doorbell Camera
DISH got it to work on their system as it will popup on the TV when someone rings the bell. Chromecast will also display it so was hoping there was a way to have BI display it as well. I'll have to see what those hacks are and if they more hassle than they are worth
Thanks

Camera Discovery shows nothing
When I to to add a camera with the Camera Discovery where it scans my network, it literally comes back with nothing. I have to manually tell it the IP address of the camera. Any ideas?

Nest Doorbell Camera
Has anyone got this to work with Blue Iris? When I tried to scan for it, it didn't even see it on my network.
Thanks

Re: Defender Guard Cameras
It does see the camera but it is not getting any kind of feed from it. Hopefully someone here has figured out how to make them work this software
Thanks

Defender Guard Cameras
I was wondering if these cameras (https://www.defendercameras.com/product ... ra-ip4mcb1) were supported by this software? Unfortunately the manufacturer does not have any way to view the footage via a PC and their mobile apps are not the easiest to use.
Thanks
