Re: Run as a windows service makes PC unresponsive?
Try setting the windows priority to "Above Normal" and see if the issue goes away. I have had a similar issue. BI was running perfectly on my all-in-one Lenovo Intel Core i7-12700H 12th Gen with two ssd drives in addition to many previous computers. Seven hikvision cameras set to 15fps on ...

Re: Performance Issues with Dahua IPC-HFW71242H-Z Camera Stream in Blue Iris
I have had the same issue. BI was running perfectly on my all-in-one Lenovo Intel Core i7-12700H 12th Gen with two ssd drives. Seven hikvision cameras set to 15fps on both streams. Direct disk recording and using each camera to cause a trigger via onvif. CPU was very low, 2-5%. Bought a GMKtec Intel...

Re: ONVIF Error 8000ffff after DST occured at 2:00AM
Just now, ONVIF error 8000ffff ceased without me changing anything. From DST change at 2:00AM until now ONVIF connect to the hikvision cameras would not authenticate, and now, it does. I am at a loss to explain but it seems to have something to do with the DST change.

Re: ONVIF Error 8000ffff after DST occured at 2:00AM
I found a November post in IP Cam Talk referring to an issue with Onvif 8000ffff errors when DST ended. Seems there was a BI bug.

ONVIF Error 8000ffff after DST occured at 2:00AM
Once the DST occured at 2:00AM BlueIris started triggering repeated Onvif error 8000ffff on my 5 Hikvision Cameras. I use direct to disk recording and rely on the cameras to trigger BI to record. There are recordings prior to 2:00PM, nothing after. I am currently on V 5.8.7.11 but tried 5.8.8.3 and ...

Re: Remote Access doesn’t work after HP update
I have a similar issue with release 4.6.3.0. I can access all cameras and clips using the latest version (2.03.01) of the ios remote app within my LAN. When I try WAN access the app connects to BI and displays the Home Screen but when I click cameras or clips it just keeps searching. Cameras and cl...
