Re: Shift from low res to high res image in BI app
Watching along for the response. My system is configured to switch to high for recording events but it would be nice to switch when viewing the camera in either web or app.

Re: Portable Camera Recorded by BI
@HenryH, not sure sending video from a counseling session over the internet is good for confidentiality reasons! Well, I often doubt what users here are asking for and try not to get into their reasons/rationale. Too many times people ask "can I do x?" and everyone comments on whether the...

Re: Portable Camera Recorded by BI
if the camera has a public ip address and supports rtsp then it should work. I dont think its a good idea, but it could work.

Re: Hide portion of saved video frame
Could this be it? This is in the trigger section which seems misplaced if it is a record setting.

Re: New BI build, modest load, Mini + NAS or local storage
I run Proxmox as the hypervisor and then run TrueNAS as a VM. The thing to be sure of in that case is to pass the disk controller through to the NAS completely. So in my case I have the NVME disks host the Proxmox OS and the VM images and pass the entire SATA controller with the spinning platters th...

Re: Taken back to DEMO mode after updating
I just created an UptimeKuma monitor to check when the new updates are posted and then I manually go download them. I could probably script the downloads too but for now I will just manually grab them. A good script would scrape the update page, keep track of the current update version and do a dail...

Re: Taken back to DEMO mode after updating
Is it legal and/or against the licensing policy to distribute Updates and/or Install files? I don't this it is. Anyone know? I do not. Good question. This forum is hosted by BI with their resources but is managed by volunteers. If they frowned on hosting or sharing copies we would need to comply he...

Re: Taken back to DEMO mode after updating
I think the BI tools allows users to archive each update. If someone in-support can save them off we can keep a list.
Or, maybe someone (I might try to) write a cron script to look for changes in the download page and download when a new version is posted.

Re: I have question
One minor tweak, you can keep running the version that was last available at the time support expired. Getting those update packages is a little off-books though so keep your update exe files saved somewhere.

Re: I have question
I don't even think there is a penalty for letting support lapse for a while and then renewing later down the road for updates.
