Re: Increased CPU usage in 5.8.x.x - 5.9.x.x

Further to my initial post, in case someone comes across that. I was using Intel NUC with i3-1220P CPU. I am not sure what was wrong with that but I have been having a number of issues with that. Recently it started overheating, I installed HWInfo to see if the CPU was throttling and sure it was. No...

Re: Increased CPU usage in 5.8.x.x - 5.9.x.x

Try lowering motion sensitivity, ensuring sub-streams are set up correctly, and disabling unused features. Thank you for your suggestions, charlieoliver Could you please explain how sub-streams could be setup incorrectly? I mean - it looks pretty straightforward so what could be done wrong there?

Increased CPU usage in 5.8.x.x - 5.9.x.x

Hi guys, did anyone notice a significant difference in the CPU usage between 5.7 and 5.8 versions? I usually stay with the latest BI versions and most of time it worked but recently I went mad trying to figure out what the heck was going on. After I upgraded from 5.7 to 5.8 I noticed a significant i...

Re: Email alert has images from multiple cameras

It became less frequent with the last updates but I occasionally still get that so no - no solution. I just gave up, thinking that that in fact could be handy - to see all images in one place. I think that happens when multiple cameras are triggered (either with motion or with sound).

Inconsistent motion detection

Hi guys, Could you please help me with my situation - it just drives me crazy? While using the "Testing & Tuning" tool to troubleshoot missing motion events, I came across a very strange situation. The same video footage triggered motion events twice consecutively, but the third time, ...

I was thinking about the same - and teh reason was to save CPU on BI machine - why make it do the job that has already been done (by the camera) ?

Time discrepancy with vieweing

Hello, I'm experiencing an issue and hoping for some assistance. My camera operates non-stop, 24/7, with motion detection and AI that tags only human or vehicle movements. Given that AI isn't infallible, I regularly review the "Cancelled Alerts" to ensure no critical events are overlooked....

Sound disabled on tablet WEB UI by default

Hello, I have rather interesting problem I could not find a solution for. I have an iPad that I use to watch my baby (but the same problem doest exist on my Goodle Nest Hub display so I don't think it is tablet-specific) When I open up the web interface, more often than not it comes up with no sound...

Re: @ALERT_PATH has old data

So - no ideas? Anyone, please? Here is what I got today: Screenshot_20230909-152108.jpg Three separate alerts. Each alert has a picture from the previous alert so like @ALERT_PATH was updated either after the alert was sent or with some delay. It was NOT a delay in deliverying the notification - tim...
