Re: How to start Blue Iris with Windows 10?
Yes, I have a dedicated monitor for my cameras at my office and it seems unnecessary to have to manually start the BI GUI every time I start the computer.

Re: How to start Blue Iris with Windows 10?
I got it to start as a service using the settings shown in the attachment, using the MS-account password.
But I must still start the GUI manually. Strange that it should be so tricky to make it start with Windows, normally you just add it to the Windows startup folder.

How to start Blue Iris with Windows 10?
Seems like a trivial task, but I cannot get this to work.
Have tried with both BlueIris.exe and BlueIrisAdmin.exe in the startup folder.
Using latest BI version.

Re: Login prompt when BI starts, username/password not accepted
Answer from BlueIris support is to log in with default user:
local_console
(no password)
You can disable the login prompt on Settings/Startup by selecting to always use admin.

Re: Login prompt when BI starts, username/password not accepted
I have to use MS account.
But now I made a restore point and deleted BlueIris. Then deleted all registry entries and leftover files.
Installed BlueIris. And again I'm asked to login....
It's not listed in services.msc.

Re: Login prompt when BI starts, username/password not accepted
Why would changing the password lose all your config? Sorry, I meant to say without uninstalling Blueiris and install it again from scratch. If you type services.msc from the Run command you check the Blueiris service to see what creds it’s using. Thanks. It runs under my local account (username). ...

Re: Login prompt when BI starts, username/password not accepted
Appears that a solution was posted here in the form of an image.
Which has been lost in a forum crash...
(I found that the MS account only remembers the last 5 passwords so I changed it to something without special characters, but that did nor change anything)

Re: Login prompt when BI starts, username/password not accepted
Many thanks. Yes, I do have a special character in my MS account password, but would rather not change it since I will not be allowed to set it back to the same again after having solved the BI login problem. Also when you set BI to run as a service did you use the same username/password that you us...
