Re: Reolink doorbell camera finally has HDR

I did see the battery version but from the reviews it is sluggish on doorbell press as it has to wake up and as far as I know it’s not directly ONVIF compliant so work with BI? I suppose this last bit makes sense as being battery powered it has to go to sleep to conserve battery. I was hoping as the...

Re: Reolink doorbell camera finally has HDR

Do you know if there’s going to be an imminent release of an updated doorbell. Just kicked my Ring subscription into touch as they are taking the urine and was looking to replace it with a Reolink doorbell but I’ve heard rumours that an updated version is due soon. Unless these rumours are always ar...

Re: Schedule for just daylight hours?

Not an expert but I never touch Profile 1. What I've done is rename Profile 2 to Day and Profile 3 to Night. Then within each cam setup the times for each profile. I use these profiles to disable alerts during the day on some of cams. If the profile is working and switching in the mobile app the cam...

Re: Confused about GPU assignments with Intel intergrated and NVidia card.

The hardware acceleration I’m referring to is using the graphics card to offload some of the video processing.

Re: City Fibre

You shouldn't need to do anything at all except maybe restart your router, the switch over is done at their back end. When I had the same issue but with Community Fiber, they just switched me over and the router picked up the change automatically. The chnage did upset my ipv6 config on the router bu...

Re: Confused about GPU assignments with Intel intergrated and NVidia card.

My rig only has the built in Intel and quite a while ago I disabled all hardware acceleration on all of my cams. Think it was a post I either read here or on the other site and was somewhat surprised that disabling it had little to no impact on overall CPU usage and in some cases it can actually red...

Re: Port forwarding through 2 routers

If your Deco is issuing IP addresses then the simple thing to do is stop it, this way your main router issues all the IP addresses or block off part of the range so that the main router issues a range and the Deco issues the other part of the range? I'd personally just stop DHCP on the Deco, this wa...

Re: BI Crashes within 15 seconds

I think the learning point from the previous text is that one failing IP camera can pull your entire BI5 system down, so figuring out how to disable them is the key. That's currently quite difficult unless you are comfortable with making changes directly in the registry. Maybe BI should have a Safe...

Re: BI Crashes within 15 seconds

Strange if that was working and the update then did something to make even the older version of BI flake out?
