Re: So really, what's the sense of using BI
Support: does anyone get a response from them when asking a question? Not even a "here, check out the post on the forum" message comes back to me. In the past they would respond. I just sent Support a message today after having some issues after upgrading to 5.5.2.2, they responded in 1.5...

Re: Pan on a zoomed image
Unchecking the "PTZ w/mouse cursor" setting does change it back to what I was used to. One of the updates must have reset that or something.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Didn't know if maybe it was a setting that got undone or something, when the wife gets clicking and clicking, somethings will get checked/unchecked accidentally!

Pan on a zoomed image
Did panning on a zoomed image change? I use the mouse wheel to zoom in, then I used to be able to click with the left mouse button to pan around, that seems to have changed at some point? Now when I press the left mouse button it brings that camera to the full window and allows me to pan, but when I...

Re: On Alert Action Image sizes...
I actually noticed that I had it set to 6 images, one image every 1second and I was getting 7 images, because I also have Include motion leading-edge image if possible. I downed it to 2 images, one image every 1second, so now I just get 3 images, but the middle one is always half the size, just weir...

Re: Amcrest IP8M-2496 cameras
That CPU is 10 years old. Toss it and the motherboard away and start from scratch. It is so old that it doesn't support hardware acceleration and its core processing power is terrible compared to modern machines. You can get a more modern machine for a couple hundred bucks. Sorry if this isn't the ...

Re: On Alert Action Image sizes...
lol. ic. I've also gotten multiple images when the motion is long. I've not noticed a difference in sizes. When I'm testing settings that I find are weird and/or acting strangely, I usually set up a camera next to the BI server and set it up with those settings. Makes it easier to test. I test away...
