I figured out how to overcome the same problem with a ipc-b22ir-zas (empiretech/dahua). The final thing that fixed it was to temporarily DISABLE authentication for ONVIF directly in the camera's web interface under Access Platform, save it, (tested that it worked), REENABLED that authentication and ...
