Hello everyone,
I have a pretty decent server where I run Blue Iris 5 on. I have an SSD (500GB) that will have the "New" clips on it for 1 day, then move it over to an HDD for storing, but everytime I check Task Manager, I see the HDD is running at 100% with over 600ms in latency. Is it possible to schedule this moving for later in the day or is it impossible, becuase the whole computers keeps on lagging when I try to view a clip that is older than 1 day old while it tries to move everything over to the HDD.
Thanks

Re: Schedule moving files to HDD
How are you correlating the 100% usage to files being moved by BI?
Re: Schedule moving files to HDD
Exactly what I was thinking...

- If you know what your after, you'll recognize it when you see it.
Re: Schedule moving files to HDD
The answer to the original question of scheduling the activities of Clips and Archiving functions, the following should be helpful.
The log file shows that every time there is a new alert, and data is added to New, Clips and Archiving will evaluate the size of the folders and move/delete/do nothing for every new event. So it's not configurable.
