Hello,
New to Blue Iris. I tried running bi as Service, after restarting the computer I open task manager and I don't really see a difference in blue iris cpu utilization compared to not as a service.
What is the benefit of running as Service?

Re: Running as Service
Hi, the benefit is that it will restart BI5 if it crashes, and that if the pc reboots for any reason, BI5 will be running before you even get the Windows password in.

As Tim said, most of us want BI running all of the time whether we are there logged in or not.
Having the surveillance system only running when we are logged in with the app open isn't the best scenario for us.
