[Bug?] Recording not functioning with Reolink RTMP model

Post by BBK »

I know, Reolink, working with what I have.

I've been having the shuttering/lag/disconnecting problem with several Reolink models. I read over the troubleshooting guide here, and applied the RTMP settings (RLC-811A specifically). When looking at the live view, everything seems to be much smoother, I don't seem to see the "No Signal" grey screen as much, overall looks better. However, when I walk in front of the camera, I noticed I wasn't getting any triggers. When I went to review why, it looks like the recordings had stopped. The stream still has the red circle in the upper right, record is still "continuous + alerts", but nothing was actually being written/nothing in the clips section for that camera.

The only relevant settings I think I have are "Limit decoding unless required" and "Decoder compatibility mode" both checked. Hardware decode is Intel+VPP. FPS on the cameras are set to 15 with 1 sec i-frame. They're using the latest 494 firmware.

Try disabling hardware acceleration as a starting point.

Are you talking about "Hardware Decode" -> No, under the Video tab? or is there somewhere I'm not seeing?
