For some reason, ever since I setup BI a few months ago, On Alert actions have never worked, but On Reset events have worked reliably. I would really like to get the On Alert actions working so I can send an MQTT message with the payload of true when the trigger starts, and false when it ends, but right now only the false message is going through. Any ideas on what is going on?

Re: On Alert actions aren't firing
Do they work when you use the test button on the alerts page?

Have you tried a variety of different actions? Such as email, SMS, push notification, etc to see if they all fail?

I even tried unchecking the 'Fire "On Alert" and "On Reset" actions only when confirmed' box in the Artificial Intelligence box and still don't see the On Alert actions firing. Also, when I test it by clicking the lightning bolt, it reports the wrong camera name.
oh my goodness, I think I figured it out. There's an "enabled" check box in the top left of the window that was unchecked for some reason. I had no idea it was there and no idea why it was unchecked. I'll report back later to let you know if that was it.

Re: On Alert actions aren't firing
That appears to have been the issue.
So, to anyone else struggling with this, just make sure the "enabled" checkbox in the very top left of the window is checked. It's easy to miss when you don't know to look for it.

I was just going to say that http commands work well here to turn lights on via Homeseer. Yes, they do need to be enabled
