Hello
I have a problem with my Galaxy s20 and the blue iris application, when I am at home and I open the application no problem, on the other hand when I am elsewhere unable to open the application, a following message appears : Unable to connect . Please try again
Reason . Unable to reach to server

Have you setup remote access and did it work in the past?

i dont think i have setup remote access. and I don't know how to precede, help would be welcome

It’s not really that easy to describe but you can either setup remote access via port forwarding or the preferred way is to setup access via a VPN. VPN access normally involves having a suitable router on which you configure something like OpenVPN.

Power forwarding is regarded as less secure but involves setting up port forwarding rules on the router that your ISP provides.

You could try BI settings/ Webserver/ Remote Access Wizard. If I remember correctly, it will try (But may fail) to open the required port on your router. Also note on that page the WAN IP address, as that is the address you add to the mobile app "WAN" position if it didn't auto populate. Click on "Get IPS" to see if it can do it itself first.

There are also many videos on Youtube, and you can use the autotranslation tool for the sub-titles (Closed Captions - CC) to get them into French.
