Hi-Res Alert Images vs Database Ony
Hi-Res Alert Images vs Database Ony
I don't understand Alert Images and how people use them. On the trigger tab, "when triggered add to alerts list" has several options. What are the pros and cons of selecting Hi-res JPEG files versus Database only? Is there a reason to create alert images when triggered? What happens if you choose "No"?

Very good question.

- If you know what your after, you'll recognize it when you see it.
Re: Hi-Res Alert Images vs Database Ony
For me, I must have "physical" jpg images created because I use those as thumbnails for a web page that I programmatically create every 24 hours. The web page shows me what happened overnight with thumbnails that are clickable links to exported mp4 videos.

That, is an excellent use case.
