Sub-stream resolution

Post by macster2075 »

Hello,
I started using sub-stream recently and noticed the resolution in BI is not the same from the camera gui.
In the gui, it shows the sub is supposed to be 704x480, but BI shows it as 640x480.

Not much different, but just curious as to why it's different and if there's a way to have the sub match it or change it to a slightly higher reso?

Out of curiosity... is it causing a problem? I mean to say, does it display and record as expected?

Yes, it works. I just wasn't sure if there was anything I needed to change on my end to match the gui. But, if it's normal, then that's great.
I also wanted to know if it was possible to change the resolution on the sub to like 720p.

According to what I've gleaned, your camera's sub-stream resolution setting is the norm. So there's nothing wrong.

Any idea on why I am not getting email notifications when a reply is posted here?
I made sure to select to be notified by email, but I am not getting any. All notifications are through the site on the top right corner, but no email.

Is there another hidden place I need to check to make sure I have that enabled?

Yes, I know exactly why you're not getting Topic Reply Notifications by email... it's broken. Forum members do not receive email notifications for topic replies or private messages. I let them know and after several email exchanges, the forum admin insists that it's working properly. (shrug).

I was able to find out what it was.
Under settings/mobile devices.. I forgot to put a check mark on the specific mobile in question.
Now the notifications are coming in fine. :D
