Increment user new-alert counters - zone specific

Hi all - virgin post here

Does anyone know, if it is possible to make the new-alert counter zone specific?

Camera is recording both road and garden.
Do not want any counter for the road (zone A), but want a push notification for the garden (zone B).
However, I do want to FTP an image from zone A triggers, so it has to be included in the alerts.

Set zone A to cover the entire area, zone b for the garden. Alerts tab -> Trigger Motions and zones -> B only. There's an excellent video about this that was created using v4 of BI, but the principle is the same. Blue Iris: Zones and Hotspots
