I deal with a lot of exporting clips from the web interface, and when doing so I have an option of choosing from 4 export profiles (0-3).
Cool.....now where do I configure those? I'm frequently sending these clips to law enforcement, and having to re-encode in handbrake to get a desired file size is annoying. Sorry if it's too obvious....haven't found it in any configuration setting.
Where do I configure 'encoder profile' for export clips?

Can you clarify if web interface means UI3, the original BI5 web interface, or the actual BI5 screen ?

Re: Where do I configure 'encoder profile' for export clips?
Whatever the web interface is from BI5 is what I use for exporting clips.
Digging deeper into Fenderman's abuse forum (lol) it seems these profiles are hard coded and can't be changed. Playing with various clips and export tests there's a 50% encoding size difference between the first and last profiles, but I had to strain to see a quality difference. So, picking the last profile will solve gthe problem.
It would be nice though if BI had all it's various profiles tucked into one GUI where they could be tweaked and named according to preference.
