configure alerts once for all cameras?

Is there a way to configure the alerts once for all cameras? I have a bunch of cameras and I'd prefer to not have to go into each camera and add/change the alerts.

yes, in the camera's settings in BI, on the Alerts tab, choose "sync with camera" and select the camera you have previously configured for alerts.
