Hi all I'm new in this forum.
I like to record both continuos and Alterts.
Can some one explain me ho?
If i select "continuos + Alert" the continuos is recorded in sub strem quality, and the alters are in Main stream quality.
If is select "continuos" I have Main stream for the continuos recordins, but for the altert I've just a frame *.jpg and a "hole" of 20 minutes (10 before and 10 after the event).
I like a continuos record without interruption and a clip of Alert. Is it possibile?
record main stream
Re: record main stream
Continuous is really record mainstream plus alerts. Got this from BI support and that is what it does here.
Re: record main stream
No because if i select continuos + alerts is automatically selected the check box " Use sub-strem if aviabile". And even if disable the checkbox, the continuos recording are made with the sub stream.

Re: record main stream
I found that select "Continuous" records the main steam. The alerts are still there and not effected. The alerts are not seperate recordings, they are just pointers to the location on the continuous recording.
Re: record main stream
I don’t use CP but I’d think that even 30 seconds is really, really bad never mind 2-3 minutes!
Re: record main stream
More like 35msec here with CPAI and a GTX1650 with an i7-8700k
Maybe this is what happens if you run BI5 and CPAI on a NAS

Hi,
I don't want to be snarky, but I think you were just very lucky. Your cpu may be a high end low power and cool running cpu, but due to that it's also very slow. I used an online website to find a cpu of comparable power, and came across this which appears to show it to be slightly slower than a i3-3210. I don't think an i3-3210 could run BI5 and CPAI together, as they both need powerful cpu's. An i7-7700k is the minimum in my mind.
The good news is that it seems to be more powerful than the J4125 in my NAS
