Hi,
I have to keep setting up the web server to allow port forwarding in order for me to access the mobile app recordings and images, but it keeps getting removed. I then have to login to BI and then set it up again.
Is there any way to make this work all the time please, as I am getting fed up of this happening.
If you can please share how you do it, that'll be great.
Thanks
Rob

If you are going to use port forwarding it’s best to set this up your router itself, BI is probably using UPNP to set up forwarding and I assume that these are somehow being removed?
Personally I use Tailscale for remote ipv4 access and ipv6 pass through where my mobile provider provides ipv6. I also have a dynu.net dns entry which my router updates with my IPv4 address and my BI PC updates for my ipv6 address so just use the alias to remotely access.

Thanks for the reply @IAmATeaf
God that sounds confusing Don't think O2 provides ipv6.

I setup ZeroTier. I'll see how that works.

Do you have any directions on how to setup TailScale? I looked at it briefly, but didn't really understand it.IAmATeaf wrote: ↑Thu Dec 21, 2023 9:22 am If you are going to use port forwarding it’s best to set this up your router itself, BI is probably using UPNP to set up forwarding and I assume that these are somehow being removed?
