I'm helping someone with a system for sports training. The goal is to have a player do their action and there would be a monitor with the live video but running at a continuous 5 second (or x seconds) lag. So, after their action, they could view the monitor immediately and see what they looked like without any manual intervention.
My searches have not proven fruitful as of yet as far as native support for this.
Any ideas?
Live view with 'on purpose' 5 second lag
Re: Live view with 'on purpose' 5 second lag
TiVo LoL
Having this hard setup might be hard but it wouldn't be too hard to just use the timeline view and move the scrubber back five seconds then hit play. No?

Wow! Excellent simple solution. LOL
Re: Live view with 'on purpose' 5 second lag
Could also do it in short clip segments or a series of clip segments. Fast forward, rewind, slo-mo, double speed, freeze....
Would simply require an operator.

Have you considered using short clip segments or a series of clip segments to achieve the desired 5-second lag, allowing manipulation like fast forward, rewind, slo-mo, double speed, and freeze without manual intervention?

Brilliant.
Or just use Reolink cameras, eh Tim?
