The CPU + GPU usage seems to be anywhere between 3-5 x lower than what is shown in windows task manager?
I just built a new pc to run my cameras and other software so the hardware can handle the 3 cameras easily enough, but why would the actual BI software processor usage be so much higher than what the app is saying?

Maybe because we love adjusting things 
It became obvious a long time ago that different pc's showed wildly different cpu usage in BI compared to Windows. To counteract that, Ken added a cpu fudge adjuster. See General settings/ Other/ CPU usage factor. Mine is set to 6. Maybe I should set it to 11
