Are multiple alerts possible?
I am set up so if a person walks up our driveway, B>C, my camera moves to preset 2, the front door. If instead, a person walks to our vehicle parking area, B>D, can the camera move to preset 3?
Re: Are multiple alerts possible?
Unfortunately, no. There can be only one of each alert/function type for each camera - not including switching profiles. I would think you would want these both to be enabled, rather than switching from one to the other.
A solution is to Clone the camera for the second alert/function you want. Then set that up for the second alert/function. The nice thing about Cloning a camera is that it uses the same video feed as the Parent, and does not log into the camera a second time with an additional video stream.
To clone a camera...
1. Select 'Add new camera' from the BI Options button.
2. Select Type ' Copy from another camera', then select the camera to want to clone.
3. Set the second set of zone crossing alert/function you want.
4. Remember to Export camera settings. Exporting BI settings doesn't hurt.
Notes:
- If the recording on the parent is Continuous, you can set the clone to record 'When Triggered'. No need for a second continuous recording.
- You can set the Parent camera as Master in the cameras Video settings by checking the 'Designated clone master' check box. The clone would then disable if the parent is disabled.
