Does anyone know if it is possible, and if so, how I can view the command / argument that the Foscam Compatible Profile is sending for PTZ?
My issue is that BI selects Foscam Comp automatically for my Boavison, but I cannot move my camera diagonally, despite it moving so in the free HI P2P software. I see there is a Custom HTTP option in the list where you apparently enter commands and arguments for these controls. I figure if I can see what the command arguments are for left, right, up and down that do work, I might be able to figure out what he command is for each diagonal movement.

Hi, a web search for "Foscam ptz commands" showed this PDF file called "Foscam IPCamera CGI User Guide" which may help. It doesn't seem to mention diagonal motion though

Thanks. There are diagonal commands in that PDF... /cgi-bin/CGIProxy.fcgi?cmd=ptzMoveTopRight&usr=admin&pwd movetopright, movetopleft etc.. However I input the /cgi-bin/CGIProxy.fcgi?cmd=ptzMoveTopRight&usr=admin&pwd=mypass but it did nothing, nor did any of the up down left right commands either format is incorrect or just the wrong command all together.TimG wrote: ↑Sat Aug 17, 2024 4:29 pm Hi, a web search for "Foscam ptz commands" showed this PDF file called "Foscam IPCamera CGI User Guide" which may help. Re: See Commands / Arguments for Foscam PTZ
I was able to get the a custom http command to work in this format by copying it from the browser inspect window..
http://192.168.0.212/web/cgi-bin/hi3510 ... &-speed=45
So I have right, left, up an down, but I cannot figure out what will work, if anything, for diagonal. I tried upright up_right and other variations but it does not take.
Maybe somebody knows how to view what command is being sent from HI P2P interface since it does control diagonal movement of the camera.
