mismatched reading

blue iris says it is running at 100% cpu but task manager says 30%. why the difference. have notice camera live view has started to studder.

I remember a BI5 setting for this as it would give very odd readings with different cpu's. I had it set up to almost match the task manager cpu reading. Then there was a BI5 update a few months ago that "sorted" it. My cpu reading in BI5 went to like 600% which was clearly innacurate. Have a look in general settings for the cpu adjustment

Yes, I previously had this set to 6 to match the task manager, then an update fixed the original problem. Here is my present setting after I had reset it to 1, and it does now match the task manager value:
