Green tint on PTZ screen

Post by BI_Again »

Today I noticed a green tint on my PTZ camera as displayed from the Blue Iris (ver 5.9.8.4) viewer that does not show on a native image. None of the other six feeds show any green tinting (whether full-screened or not) and only shows when the PTZ feed is maximized on the BI viewer, regardless of full screen or not.

This green tinting presents on many browsers (IE, Chrome, Moz), many devices (PC, iPhone, Android, Fire, RPI), presents the same distortion pattern across all platforms, and the artifacts move as the camera PTZs, but none of these artifacts show natively from the camera. This is a new defect on a BI system well over three years old and a two year old PTZ.

Thoughts?

Are you using hardware acceleration with this camera ? If yes, turn it off and check it again. Did the green tint start with a BI5 (Or Windows) upgrade ?
