Hello
Since I switched to fiber I can no longer connect to Blue Iris on my phone when I am outside, is there a reason and how to fix it
Thanks

Perhaps some additional details might help, are you talking about using wi-fi, outside the house or over mobile data on your cell phone. Are you using UI3 or the BI mobile app? Is your cell phone an Android device or an Apple device? Have you run the Remote access Wizard in BI since the change to your Internet configuration?

I think you must have changed your modem/router when you switched to fibre. In the old one you may have set up port forwarding for remote access, and so this is missing for the new modem. As BruceH said above, you will probably need to re-run the Blue Iris Wizard to set up port forwarding with the new modem/router.

Hello
And thank you for your answers, when you say to restart the Blue Iris wizard to configure the port redirection, what exactly does that consist of, what is the procedure to follow

Open blueIris and click on the gear icon for the settings, select the "Web Server" tab, the "Remote access Wizard" is in the lower left corner.

You could also read the BI help file topic "Remote Access" for more details! If it was working, you must have done this at some point in time!
