Correct Local IP in Blue Iris Web Server

Post by rgj34169 »

My Blue Iris server has Issues it turns out that the Web Server Local IP now is a MAC Address and Port.
I have tried changing the Line but is frozen no change or delete possible.
When I tried going to the Remote Access Wizard everything that used to have my local Ip is gone and where there is a reference to the Local Ip the MAC Address is listed.
How do I correct this???
If you say just create a new one. Do I use the port I had before or do I have to use a new Port???
Please Help

Thanks

I believe that is your local IP6 address not a mac address, do you have IP4 enabled or are you just using IP6 on your local network!

I hope you do not have that port open as you just published your WAN internet address for the whole world to see and try and hack into!

I've deleted the image to protect the OP. I agree that was an IP6 LAN IP address not a MAC address.

Yes, it started Friday Night. I have 12 cameras on my desktop. Since Saturday, when I double click on a camera screen. I get a black Screen. I have tried editing the Main Screen, but I can't move anything. The cameras are not in the order of the camera listing on the Blue Iris Status Cameras Tab.

I have a post on How to completely uninstall Blue Iris and then do a New Complete install.
I have all the data required to do the install.

I wish I could figure out what happed to my Desktop.

I'm attaching a screen shot.

Thanks

Joe

So just to clarify that the cameras are all working in the screen that you posted, but show completely blank/black when opened to a single camera view!

Joe when you double click on a camera is there any border for the screen, or is the entire screen blank? if you left click on the screen do you get a menu that pops up?

First thanks for the reply.

When I double click on a camera I get a complete blank screen. No border.
If I left Click on the Blank screen I get nothing if I Right click on the blank screen I get the normal full camera menu.
I want to point out on the Image Attachment I sent you at the bottom right of the screen that is not a camera and when I right clip.
I get the same popup as I would by right clicking the Main Screen.

Thanks

Joe
