AI Static Object Analysis Detecting in masked out regions.

Post by TheOgre »

Hello all, been using BlueIris with CodeProjectAi motion detection for a very long time and have been extremely happy with it.

However, I have noticed some issues recently that I am not sure how to resolve and it causing "Occupied" alerts even when the alert should be confirmed. The issue being, I have areas masked out for the AI, but it detecting LOTS of static objects specifically in the blacked out region of my camera (see attached image)

I have tried lots of things to get this to stop detection in this area, and I'm not sure how it is even detecting anything there, but alas, it is.

How would I go about fixing this? It is causing the AI to miss lots of actual events because it is marking them as Canceled/Occupied due to these.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I would like to close this topic as I have figured out what was happening.

I was using CodeProjectAI in a Mesh configuration, and for some reason, the server was sending the same image over and over even with new alerts. All my cameras were showing this exact same detection pattern. Switched to local only and the issue was immediately resolved.
