False Random EXTERNAL Alerts

Several times a day a flood of alert clips are captured for several cameras. Each alert says that the trigger was EXTERNAL. The cameras contained in each occurrence are often different and the first camera in the group changes. I have no GROUPS set up. None of the cameras allow EXTERNAL triggers or any other non-internal motion detection triggers.On occasion the first camera to fire will show MOTION as the trigger but most often the first camera will also show EXTERNAL. I do not know where to begin. I do not understand how cameras can be triggered from an EXTERNAL source when EXTERNAL is disabled for each camera. Suggestions on an approach? I use the motion sensors of the cameras to trigger actions so this problem is killing my security,

Are there any triggered clips in the clip list that say 'Group'?
