I haven't yet installed AI on Blue iris. I wondered what impact it has on the PC resources. I have a i7-4790 with 32GB RAM..would that be sufficient to run the AI adding as well as the BI software?

How many cameras and what is your current CPU utilization? Are you currently getting a large number of alerts on BI? All of these things will have some impact on any advice we can provide for you!

I'm running two cameras, constant recording, 12 ish alerts a day, CPU 16% ram 24%

i would think that the AI would not seriously load your system, have you optimized your system as far as using sub streams etc. Considering the cost of trying the software, I would suggest that you give it a try!

Thanks Bruce. I agree, I just give it a go. I assume it's easy to uninstall if I need to.

Yes it can be removed very easily!
