When the Santa Winds come or when the fog rolls in, I would like to place all my cameras in a "pause" state for so many hours. Similar to how you can pause 1 camera at a time, is there a way to pause them all for a specified time? Perhaps if the "Shield" could be paused on a timer.
thanks
Place all cameras on pause timer
Re: Place all cameras on pause timer
Not sure. But...Rather than not getting any alerts during those times, maybe an option would be...
Occasionally, we get high wind day here in Minnesota. We just had one today... 25-35 mph sustained with gusts up to 50 mph.
I use AI, and keep the AI analysis going for the duration of the motion, AND, limit the 'Motion trigger/alert duration' to a shorter time - like 15-30 seconds. This does keep the cpu/gpu busier during these times producing hundreds of motion/alerts. The Alerts not AI conformed are in the Canceled alert list, and could be automatically deleted by BlueIris if wanted, so that only the AI confirmed alerts appear in the Alerts list.
This way, even during windy/snowy/rainy/foggy days, I still get AI confirmed Alerts, and Push/SMS/Email..., alerts as they happen.

Thank you for that. I will look into that, as I still have not implemented AI in BI.
Re: Place all cameras on pause timer
You can create a separate schedule, which puts the cameras on pause. In this schedule, you can set the ‘Execute action set each’ to revert to the original schedule after a certain period you specify.
Can be used due to weather, when you have craftsmen, or when the kids have nightly parties in the garage. X hours later, you are back to normal.
