Camera won't connect

Could someone explain why IP cameras I try to connect to blue Iris that have a onvif password to connect to NVR or other software will not connect to Blue Iris? Blue Iris finds them in the find/inspect option but will not connect no matter what password I put in. It comes up with RSTP:400 Bad Request. I know they are not top of the line cameras but they should work. Actually the one I have is an Xgody camera that I have had working but once it's disconnected it will not connect again without a bunch of changing and messing around with everything. The other one I just purchased is a Treatlife Prosight PS10 and it does the same thing. I cannot get it to work at all with B.I. either. These are the only cameras I have with these onvif passwords and the only ones I have problems with. Thank you for any help.

Just a thought, but are there any options with the camera ONVIF password selection ? Can you turn it off to see if it helps ? Add a few screenshots if you can.

Thank you for your reply. My mistake It's actually RTSP password. It is off by default and when it's off it does the same exact thing. I have tried it with advanced port scanner and it finds it either way. I have tried it with Onvif Device Manager and it does not find it with it off. It does find it with it on but no video or even info, no matter what option I click on it comes up with this: (The underlying connection was closed unexpectedly). The error B.I. gives is shown in the attachment. Also shows camera app for the RTSP turn on/off password.

Did you get it to work?

You'd have to set up the RTSP password and username in the app / camera, for BI to authenticate the stream, I believe.

I have done that several times and tried multiple passwords in the app and B.I. and it does not connect.

Have you tried connecting to the camera from VLC player? It can be a useful step to see if the camera is talking properly on RTSP.
