Age of confirmed alerts

Post by corydoras »

Hi
I have searched the forum, and not found any direct answers to my issue. I had BI installed on a win 10 machine that crashed and had to do a fresh install, but i had a fresh export of setup so it was pretty straight forward to get my system up abd running.
Using a fairly old version v5.5.9 running 8 108p cameras with main and sub streams all on code project ai
HW is 4th gen I7 in virtual enviroment.

The previous install had no problems keeping confirmed alert for several days (3-4 days)

Now if it gets older than approx 12 hr, i have a clip that says 10sec, but it is only a jpeg with the frame around the detected object, so no video.

My storage settings is as follows:

bi2.JPG
bi2.JPG (83.34 KiB) Viewed 293 times
bi1.JPG
bi1.JPG (85.39 KiB) Viewed 293 times
The disk usage is not showing more than 60%

I guess I must have messed something up.

Anyone with some good tips, is greatly appreciated.

Best reg

It looks like another case of your folders being too small for the recorded clip files. I had a similar issue when my much larger folders filled up with CPAI DAT files. Did we get any feedback after I tried to explain the need to calculate folder sizes for the previous forum member that asked ?

Thanks for the reply Tim

It makes sense that if storage gets filled up, it just keeps the high res jpg, but the weird thing is that BI states there are plenty of space left ??
