Are they the same program ??
Just wondering because I googled Blue Iris to get here and saw it come up....

Blue Iris can be purchased directly from the main web site, or as part of a bundle with some camera suppliers. It is the same program, although it may have custom titles here and there.

I don't know what the Amcrest-branded version does, so it might be better getting it from the Blue Iris site itself.

Amcrest is a reseller, and sends you the license as part of the purchase.

You can then download the BI software full version from the Blue Iris web site, and, enter that license.
This is what I did.
