How is it that Blue Iris exposes the link: An anonymous user session is available.
You can find a number of unsecured cameras if you search.
This certainly can't be a feature, can it?
How does one disable it?

Re: An anonymous user session is available.
Are you referring to the Anonymous User? If so, disable it in the Users tab.
Re: An anonymous user session is available.
The Anonymous user account works hand in hand with Blue Iris -> webserver -> Advanced Authentication. It is a limited account with no administrator access. It only has access if you have configured Blue Iris with Authentication Require to either "No connections" or "Non-LAN only".BloatedToad wrote: ↑Fri Jul 12, 2019 7:45 pm How is it that Blue Iris exposes the link: An anonymous user session is available.

"no connections" allow anonymous access from Internet and your LAN
"Non-LAN only" allows anonymous access from your LAN, but NOT the Internet
"All connections" requires user account authentication on both LAN and Internet, anonymous access is NOT ALLOWED.
If you configure your Authentication require to "All Connections" then Anonymous access is effectively disabled for all connections ( LAN and Internet ). Disabling the Anonymous user account will prevent anonymous access to Blue Iris as MikeBwca stated.
