same camera shows twice and records twice??????

I'm new to this..... I only have a single camera. Had some computer issues and had to reinstalled BI5. Now I seem to have the same live screen showing twice on my display. I can zoom in on one and the other stays the same while the clock continues on both. When motion is set up it records twice. On my recordings I see a Cam1 and Cam2. How do I get rid of one of the screens?

I think there is more to this than meets the eye :shock:

I would start by right clicking on one of the cameras and Disabling it (rather than deleting it) in the menu. You can set it in the same menu to hide disabled cameras. You can then have a good look at the other camera to see if it has all expected functionality. If it doesn't, re-enable the camera, disable the other, and test again. When you have decided which one you can remove, you can delete it.

Your statement

is the odd part. The camera will only have one lens, so how can this happen ? Is the clock reading the same time on both images ?

At first, I would say the camera is cloned. But, it's not behaving that way.

What are the IP address of both of the cameras?

Could you take a screen capture of the BI console, and post it? That would answer a lot of questions.
Also, the cameras settings, 'Video' tab.
