Possible Bug with Suspend Motion PTZ?

Post by jEXE »

Setup:
One camera
Global Schedule Used
-Two Profiles, one with Motion triggered, the other with it off.
Suspend Motion' is enabled.
I also have PTZ's changing positions based on the two different profiles under the 'Event Schedule's.

For some reason however, when PTZ preset is triggered, sometimes the trigger will be tripped by the movement, othertimes it will not (which is correct).

Anyone experiencing a similar issue? This didn't seem to happen in V4.

Thanks!

In the cameras settings, 'PTZ/Control' tab, set the 'Max travel time/motion delay' to a few seconds longer than the time it takes the cameras to move from the start preset to the dest preset. You can also overrride these per ptz when you click on the 'Edit Presets' button.

Thanks Mike,

However, these settings are already in place. Yet, the camera is still being triggered.

Alright..so found a work around.

The trigger will be correctly supressed...only of I restart the camera prior to the profile / PTZ position change.

Weird.
